2 x OC-12/STM-4 Trunk Module
The 2 x OC-12/STM-4 Trunk Module provides two 622 Mbps SONET/SDH interfaces capable of handling ASI and uncompressed SDI video, audio and data with 100% Quality of Service. You can allocate bandwidth to any service in 0.5 Mbps increments, ensuring maximum utilization of your telco infrastructure. The Module’s on board non-blocking switch matrix optimizes the availability of through traffic. The 2 x OC-12/STM-4 is a key component in many of our client’s media POPs. The unit can serve as an uplink in a Nimbra 340 unit and feed two separate Nimbra One edge switches for redundancy or more capacity.
